I am impressed with my fridge friend, and love that I get reminders when it is time to reset.
I was very tentative about this product, but only because I first saw it in social media and we all know a lot of things advertised on social media are scams. But I did some research and discovered it wasn’t a scam. It turned out to be a significant outlay but they had a two for the price of one offer and so I bought one and gave the other to my adult son. It’s been in the fridge about two weeks now and I have to say it actually works. The cheese isn’t get mouldy, the baby spinach is fresh and crisp and other things have lasted longer than usual. I should say too that I appreciate the little push the manual gave me to implement better storage for veggies which has been helpful. This will pay for itself because I haven’t had to replace slimy baby spinach or cut chunks of cheese. I am glad I made the investment.
Hi there, thanks so much for giving Fridge Friend a chance after doing your research! We’re thrilled it’s keeping your cheese and spinach fresher, and that the storage tips have been helpful too. We really appreciate you sharing your experience and hope you and your son continue to enjoy your Fridge Friends!

This is my second purchase. My first fridge friend is now 3 years old so time for a replacement. I can’t do without these. My food retains its freshness immeasurably longer but it’s the fruit and veggies that a really incredibly impacted. The cost is nothing compared to the time and money saved in perished food.
Hi Toni, thanks so much for coming back to Fridge Friend! We’re delighted your first one served you well for three years and that you’ve noticed such a difference in keeping your fruit and veggies fresh. We really appreciate your support!

I wasn't sure that this would work but decided to try it after checking positive reviews. We have recently joined a subscription vege and fruit box service and wanted to be sure that we wouldn't wind up with lots of waste. When we placed the fridge friend we had a very sad looking bunch of celery in our crisper, unbelievably, a few days later it had revived and was looking crisp and new! This has worked WAY beyond our expectations and would recommend it to anyone.
Hi there, thank you so much for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled your celery perked up and that Fridge Friend is helping you make the most of your fruit and veg box. Your recommendation means a lot to us!

Bananas go off
Hi Michelle, thanks for sharing your photos, and I’m sorry to see your bananas going off! Bananas are big ethylene producers and ripen quickly, so they’re best kept on the bench until ripe and away from other fruit and veg. Once ripe, the fridge can help slow them down. The skin may darken, but the fruit inside stays fresh. We’d love to help further, so please email us at hello@fridgefriend.com.au. 💚
