FAQ

We received our Fridge Friends and followed the activation process and installed our 2 units. Well two weeks later and I hav e to say I am impressed, our fresh produce (fruits and veggies) are lasting longer. So my early thoughts are, this was a possitve investment.
Hi Paul, thanks so much for sharing your experience! We’re delighted your Fridge Friend® units are helping your fruits and veggies stay fresh longer. We really appreciate your support and hope they continue to be a great investment for you!
My veggies still goes off in the fridge with two of those fridge friends😔
Hi Michelle, I’m sorry your veggies are still going off, and thanks for the photo. It really helps! Fridge Friend works best with plenty of airflow around it, so try standing it up or placing it beside your produce, rather than on top of or under it. Taking veggies out of plastic bags and keeping ethylene producers (like tomatoes and apples) away from leafy greens can make a big difference too. Please reach out at hello@fridgefriend.com.au and we’ll help you troubleshoot. You’re also covered by our 90-day money-back guarantee. 💚

A complete and pleasant surprise! Successful experiment!
I bought this as a trial to see if the Fridge Friend would really make a difference. It has.
The vegetables in the crisper stayed crisp, crunch and the parsley did not wilt after 10 days. There was no need to compost vegetables after weeks.
Now to see if its effectiveness continues for the advertised three years.
Thank you.
Hi Jane, thanks so much for sharing your experience! We’re delighted Fridge Friend has kept your vegetables crisp and your parsley fresh. We hope it continues to make a difference for you over the next three years!

My fridge asked me the other day… “Why are these three still living here rent-free? The carrots are still crunchy, the coriander is not lumpy and mushy and the strawberries are still glossy red”…. lol real buyer here and I love the Friend Friend. It actually works.
….I think my fridge will be charging my fruit and veggies rent soon 😉
This made our whole team laugh! 😂 Crunchy carrots, perky coriander and glossy strawberries sound like model tenants to us. Tell your fridge they’ve earned their keep! Thanks so much for the brilliant review. 🥕🍓💚

Bought these and cleaned out the fridge before I activated them and put them in on the 1st of September. Crisper drawers, bottom shelf and top shelf in my large French door fridge. I can see fruit and veggies are lasting longer, and the fridge doesn’t have a weird odour, even though my daughter cooks with a lot of garlic and spices. Previously it was likely that cake or dairy products would pick up food odours, but that seems to have stopped. Overall, very happy with the product and performance.
Hi Andrea, we're thrilled to hear you're happy with Fridge Friend® and that it’s helping keep your fridge fresh and odour-free! Thanks so much for sharing your experience! 😊
I’ve been using 2 fridge friends for 3 weeks now and found so far, it has kept my fruit and veggies fresher and crisper. A few more months will give me a more accurate account of their effectiveness.
Hi Sharon, we're so glad to hear that Fridge Friend® is helping keep your produce fresh! Thank you for sharing your experience. We look forward to hearing more in a few months! 😊
Unbelievably vegetables are lasting for weeks. Washed strawberries have last for a week (staying as fresh as the first day) and probably could have stayed fresh for more than a week. I’m amazed by this product.

I bought my fridge friend a few years ago now
, and can say quite positively that it is the best product for our fridge we ith keeping food fresher for longer. Plus the benefit of reminder emails to reset our fridge friend in the microwave for 20 seconds is brilliant. I now need one for our caravan fridge
Hi Karen, thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're thrilled to hear that the Fridge Friend has helped keep your food fresher for longer and that the reminder emails are helpful. We'd be happy to assist with a solution for your caravan fridge too. Cheers, Jonathan. Co-Founder www.fridgefriend.com
I am very impressed with the performance of the Fridge Friends! I initially bought 2 and very quickly bought another 2 for the Westinghouse fridge freezer I have (Model WHE6060SB - 565l storage). I should have taken more time to read the advice available on the website! Two in the main fridge compartment and one in each of the 2 drawer units for a fridge this size!
I wanted to prove to myself that the investment was worthwhile so in one of the drawers, put fresh mint and Spinach purchased from Coles on 6 & 8 August respectively. Today, 12 August, the mint and spinach are still very fresh. Photos included of the fresh mint being used in a Moroccan couscous dish and the spinach will go into a salad today! Usually the mint turns black in the fridge drawers within 4 days and spinach usually gets slimy just a quick, no matter how well I try to store it. Needless to say, I am VERY happy with Fridge Friends.
I've used similar products before which just haven't been up to the job. They were much small and thinner and certainly didn't last long, so don't waste your money on supposedly cheaper products that purport to do the same thing as Fridge Friends!
Hi Carol, thank you so much for sharing your experience in such detail!
We're so happy to hear how well Fridge Friend® is working for you and that your produce stays fresh longer. Your detailed feedback and photos are truly appreciated. It's great to know our product makes such a difference.
